Obituary
Linda Gayle Dunaway, 65, of Wallingford, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018, at her residence with family by her side.
Born in Rowan County on August 17, 1952, she was the daughter of Lena May Jones Hamm and the late Lloyd C. Hamm.
Linda farmed with her husband, David, and worked as the office manager for Rainbow Sweeper in Morehead. She was a woman of strong faith who loved being outdoors.
Linda is survived by her husband of 46 years, David A. Dunaway; her son, Kevin A. Dunaway; her mother Lena; her brothers, James Willis and Lloyd C. Hamm; her sisters, Margie K. Hanshel, Rose K. Dunn, Mildred Cunningham, and Phyllis Beagle; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher N. Dunaway; her brother, Ricky E. Hamm; and her sister, Susan K. Hamm.
A celebration of Linda's life will be at 7 p.m., Friday, March 2nd at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to St. Claire Hospice (222 Medical Circle, Morehead, Kentucky 40351).
