Linda Lorrine Highfield, 72, of Flemingsburg, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at her residence.

Born in Lewis County on April 25, 1952, Linda was the daughter of the late Otto Highfield and the late Opal Gertrude Prater Highfield.

Linda is survived by her son, Wesley (Billie Jo) Highfield; her four grandchildren,  Lexie (Tyler Terrell) Highfield, Makenna Highfield, Hunter Cordray and Chayla Makenzie Purdon;  her great grandchild, Aries; two of her siblings, Martha Conn and Paula Palmer; special niece, Jennifer Highfield; along with many extended family members.

In addition to her mother Opal and her father Otto, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Charlie Highfield;  seven of her siblings, her twin Glenda Highfield, her sister, Kitty McCall, her brothers, James, Mitchell, Sonny, Ricky Highfield, an infant brother; and a nephew, Jack Highfield.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Friday, April 11, 2025, at the Beechburg Christian Church, with Pastor Bobby Carroll officiating.

Linda will be laid to rest in East Fork Cemetery on Chalk Ridge Road

Pallbearers include Jeremy Highfield, T. J. Palmer, Tyler Terrell, Russell Phelps, Nathan Lewis, Mark Sexton, and Randy Turner.   Honorary pallbearers include Linda's neighbors at Pioneer Trace Apartments.

Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., Friday, at Beechburg Christian located at 3301 Beechtree Pike, Wallingford, Ky. 41093.
