Linda Joyce Hilander, 68, of Foxport, KY passed away Thursday April 24. 2014 at her home.

Linda was born July 31, 1945 in Fleming County to the late William D. and Verna Katherine Wagner Doyle.

Linda was first and foremost a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her life. Linda was a well-known tax preparer and accountant for 34 years and for the last 7 years owned and operated Affordable Tax Service in Mt. Carmel, KY. She was a member of New Life Church of Christ and a KY Colonel.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years Arnold Hilander; son Patrick Hilander of Chicago, IL; daughter Missie Hilander of Fleming County; grandchildren Carter Patrick Hilander and Addison Grace Duff; siblings Phil (Elaine) Doyle and Garrnet Jackson of Foxport, Connie McFarland of Bethel, KY; several nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by a son Anthony Wayne "Tony" Hilander, her parents and a brother David Doyle.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Monday April 28, 2014 at New Life Church of Christ with Bro. Darren Fizer officiating. Burial will follow In Machpelah Cemetery in Mt. Sterling, KY. Visitation will be 5 – 9 PM Sunday at the church and after 8 AM Monday.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the New Life Church of Christ Building Fund (1059 Pigeon Roost Road Wallingford, KY 41093).
