Lisa Carol Cassidy Lofton, 43, of Mount Sterling, gained her wings Friday, January 17, 2025, at UK Medical Center, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on November 27, 1981, she was the daughter of Malcolm Cassidy and Darlene St. Clair Cassidy.

Lisa's smile was like a ray of sunshine.  Her kindness and loving ways will live on in our hearts forever.

She was a devoted wife to the love of her life, Gabriel Wayne Lofton; a loving mother to her two heartbeats, Gia Grace Lofton and Gabriel Graham Lofton;  and loving stepmother to La'Trae and Jaliah Lofton.

She is also survived by her parents Malcolm and Darlene; her brother, Matthew Scott (Anisa) Cassidy; her father-in-law, Arthur Lofton; her three sisters-in-law, Krista Steward, Susan (Mondré) Saunders, and Emily Lofton;  her three brothers-in-law, Marcus Lofton, Antonio Davis, and Anthony Hardrick; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and  many friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Malcolm Sr. and Pauline Cassidy; her maternal grandparents, James and Mildred St. Clair; her mother-in-law, Julia Graham Lofton and her two brothers-in-law, Craig Lofton and Troy Steward.

The funeral service will begin at 3 p.m., Friday, January 24, 2025, at New Creation Praise and Worship Center with Rev. Gary Boyd officiating.

Lisa will be laid to rest in Mount Carmel Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Austin Cassidy, Christian Cassidy, Marcus Lofton, Christopher Lofton, Troy Steward II, Muntu Oden, Craig Lofton, Mondré Saunders, Justin West, Jon-Michael Stallard.  Honorary pallbearers include Jennifer Roberson, Erin Craft Lueker, and her nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m., until the hour of service at 3 p.m., Friday, at New Creation Praise and Worship Center located at 1431 Helena Road, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041.
