Lisa Pfeffer, 55, of Flemingsburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2026.
Born on April 4, 1971, in Kentucky, Lisa brought warmth, laughter, and light to everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher Scott Pfeffer; her three beloved daughters, Kristain (Jon) Howard, Katie Pfeffer (Josué) Chan, and Abby (Ethan) Pfeffer; and her brother, Donald E. Jennings. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy E. “Ed” Jennings and Christine S. Jennings, along with her grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Lisa experienced life deeply and brought love, humor, and compassion to the people closest to her. She loved music, decorating, and writing with creativity and care, and spending time talking and laughing with her daughters, who meant the world to her. She had a special place in her heart for animals, a kind and compassionate spirit, and an energy that made even the simplest moments feel special. Whether sharing memories over her favorite Chinese food, making others smile — including the many dogs she loved over the years — or finding adventure in everyday life, Lisa had a way of bringing comfort and warmth to those around her.
The family would like to thank Boone Nickell Funeral Home for their care and support during this difficult time. The family would also like to extend heartfelt gratitude to their aunt, Patricia Fearin, whose love and unwavering support were a meaningful and cherished part of Lisa’s life throughout the years, especially since the passing of her mother Christine in 2025.
She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her infectious laughter, and the love she gave so freely to family and friends. A devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, Lisa leaves behind memories that will continue to bring strength, comfort, and love to all who knew her.
Though she will be dearly missed, the love and joy Lisa shared will live on in the hearts of those she touched every day.
A private service will be held to honor Lisa’s life.
In place of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Boone Nickell Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
