Lois Ruth McRoberts, 89, of Flemingsburg, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Fleming County Hospital.

Born in Petersville in Lewis County on October 12, 1935, Lois was the daughter of the late William Monroe Stidam and the late Rosa Emaline Davis Stidam.

Lois managed the concession stand at the Flemingsburg Drive-In,  a cashier at B & K (formerly D & S),  and a certified nurse's aide (CNA) at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home for 17 years.  She was a member of the Wallingford Christian Holiness Church.

Lois is survived by her husband of 16 years, Edgar Isaac; her six children, Gene Austin (Mercedes) McRoberts Jr., Cheryl Lynn (Tommy) Carpenter, Randy (Lisa) McRoberts, Jimmy McRoberts, Michael (Julie Swim) McRoberts, and Amanda Bennett; her three stepchildren, Sandra Isaac, Dennis Isaac, and Edgar Isaac Jr.; her seven grandchildren, Reva Pennington, Becky McRoberts, Joshua Carpenter, Leea McRoberts, Shalen McRoberts, Samantha Bennett, and Alison Bennett; her nine step grandchildren; several great grandchildren;  several step great grandchildren; along with many extended family members and friends.

In addition to her mother Rosa and her father William, Lois was preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Austin McRoberts; along with her four siblings, Dick Stidam, Arthur "Ott" Stidam, Flora Stidam, and Nora Stidam.

The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Forrest Hedges officiating.

Lois will be laid to rest in Fleming County Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Gene McRoberts, Randy McRoberts, Michael McRoberts, Jimmy McRoberts, Tommy Carpenter, and Kevin Bennett.  Honorary pallbearers include Logan Chambers, E.J. Isaac, and Josh Carpenter.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, at Boone-Nickell, located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041.
