Lois Smith, 76, of Flemingsburg, passed away Friday, September 22, 2023, at her residence.

Born in Los Angeles, California on July 12, 1947, her father was the late Dane Culbertson and her mother was the late May Fukigawa Brodsky.

Lois is survived by her husband, Bruce Smith; her two sons, Steven (Paloma) Smith and Marcus Smith; her four grandchildren, Mario, Steven Jr., Alan, and Paloma Jr.; her three great grandchildren, Delilah, Amara, and Kaiya.  She is also survived by her sister, Carol Brodsky; her cousin, Kathy Coburn;  her best friend, Ofelia Carranza; and her friend, Gumaro Vasquez.

In addition to her parents Dane and May, she was preceded in death by the Carranza family.

Lois and her family are being cared for by Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
