Obituary
Lucy Mae Oyer, 73, of Flemingsburg, formerly of Dayton, OH, passed away Friday April 21, 2017 after an extended illness.
Lucy was born November 10, 1943 in Bluestone, KY to the late Allie and Rebecca Jones Bragg.
Lucy was a retired group leader with the Gayston Corporation after 29.5 years of service.
Lucy is survived by her son, John Oyer; her brothers, Terry Bragg and wife Tammy, Larry Bragg and wife Linda, and Dennis Bragg and wife Jessie; her sisters, Gladys Toy and Wanda Becraft; several nieces and nephews and extended family.
Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, Anson B. Oyer Jr.; her parents; her brothers, Virgil, Taylor, David and Glendale Bragg; her sisters, Mabel Roberts and Joyce Choate.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday April 26, 2017 at Boone – Nickell Funeral Home with Preacher Mike Roberts and Preacher Mark Roberts officiating. Burial will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
