Madeline Francis Dye, 77, of Flemingsburg, passed away Sunday July 6, 2014 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe.

Madeline was born July 17, 1936 in Lewis County to the late Floyd and Vernice Evans Ackley.

Madeline was retired from Randall Textron after several years of service, she had also been a cook at the Hungry Haven Restaurant and Sorrell's Restaurant in Flemingsburg. She was a member of New Life Church of Christ in Flemingsburg.

Madeline was preceded in death by her husband Omar Frank Dye.

Survivors include her sons Ken Dye of Flemingsburg, KY and Frank (Sandy) Dye of Lewes, DE; grandchildren Tiffany (Marcos Hernandez) Dye, Stephanie (Ryan) Marshall and Brandon (Brittany) Dye; great grandson Mason Marshall; special friend Gina Fizer; and several other family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Thursday July 10, 2014 at New Life Church of Christ in Flemingsburg with Bro. Darren Fizer officiating. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery (Mt. Tabor Rd. Ewing, KY). Visitation will be 11 - 1 PM Thursday at the church.
