Marcella Cooper, 64, of Flemingsburg, passed away Thursday November 7, 2013 at UK Medical Center.

Marcella was born November 6, 1949 in Mason County to the late James Louis Coffey Sr. and Bonnie Hickerson Coffey.

Marcella had worked at the US Shoe Corp for 16 years, Fleming County Public Library, Sloan's Paint and Wallpaper and Total Care Pharmacy. She was the owner and operated of the Poplar Grove Grocery and was a consultant for Pampered Chef. She was a lifetime member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She was a loving mother and her pride and joy where her 4 grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters Amanda (Tommy) Bigelow and Devona (Greg) Dotson; two sisters Cindy Hester and Lita (Wes) Story; grandchildren Payton Shae and Cater Thomas Bigelow, Cooper Brooks and Campbell Burton Dotson; mother Bonnie Hickerson Coffey.

She was preceded in death by her father, brother Jimmy Coffey, and a brother-in-law David Frankie Hester.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday November 12, 2013 at St. Charles Catholic Church by the Rev. Verne F. Hogan celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 - 9 PM Monday at Mt. Carmel Methodist Church and after 8 AM Tuesday at Mt. Carmel Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Care Club in Flemingsburg.
