Marcella  "Marcy" Roark Parker, 71, of Wellington, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at her residence. She was the widow of Larry Parker.

Born in Maysville on March 7, 1955, her father was the late Freddy Roark Sr., and her mother was the late Juanita Prince Roark.

Marcy had worked at A. O. Smith and was a caregiver. Marcy shared her love of music and yard sales with her sister. She loved her family and friends very much and taking pictures of the family. She also loved flowers especially Christmas cactus.

Marcy is survived by her brother, Ken (Sue) Roark; her sister, Darlene Moore; her six nephews, her one great niece; her stepson, Shawn (Cindy) Parker; her special step grandson, Bricen Parker; her two sisters-in-law, Georgia and Joy; along with many nephews, nieces and cousins.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Marcella was preceded in death by her three brothers, Freddy Roark, Dan Roark, and Mike Roark; her niece, Natalie Roark, her nephew, Jason Mabry; and her special aunt, Wynema Prince Reed.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Prince Cemetery, with Bro. Doug Reeves officiating.

Pallbearers include Kenny Roark, Shawn Roark, Kelly Roark, David Roark, Chris Roark, and Keith Roark.
