Margaret Mae Browning of Lexington, KY, passed away Friday November 29, 2013. She was born November 16, 1916 in Fleming County to the late Charles and Mary Ann Browning.

Ms. Browning had served in the US Army as a nurse in WW II in the 300th General Hospital Unit in Italy. She spent her main career as a nurse at the Lexington VA Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her brother Charles A. Browning and foster brother Lebus R. Kidwell.

She is survived by nieces and nephews: Sally Browning of Franklin, NC, Mark Browning of Cincinnati, OH, Boyd Kidwell of Cary, NC, Ella Mae Dexter of Danville, KY and Sarah Chaney of Morehead, KY.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 1 PM Saturday December 7, 2013 at St. Charles Catholic Church by the Rev. Michael Comer celebrant. Burial will follow in Fleming County Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 - 12:30 PM Saturday at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home.
