Margaret Frances Hamilton, 78, of Maysville, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024, at UK Medical Center in Lexington. She was the widow of Leland "Buck" Hamilton.
Born in Maysville, Ky. on May 29, 1946, her father was the late Jess Edward Mack and her mother was the late Mary Pauline Yazell Mack.
Margaret is survived by four of her children, Donna Sue Hickerson and husband Elbert, Tony Ray Hamilton, Gary Wayne Hamilton and wife Patricia, Marzetta Ann "Zetti" Hamilton and Donnie Earlywine; two special grandchildren she raised as her own, Ashley Linville and husband J.J., and Brittany Hamilton; her daughter-in-law, Robin Hamilton; her grandchildren, C.J. Sapp, Jennifer (Josh) Anderson, Shannon (Ty) Littleton, Shayne Hamilton, Casey Hamilton, Jessica Bailey, Brianna (Cameron) Potter, Austin (Katelyn) Ruark, Courtney (Dee) Dailey, Miranda Hamilton, Gene (Betty Jo) Hickerson, Carla (Andrew) Story, Curtis Linville, Kaitlynn Linville, and Jazie Linville; her many great grandchildren; her sister, Ruby Hampton; along with many extended family members and friends.
In addition to Buck, her husband of 14 years who passed in September 1978; her mother Mary; her father Jess; Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Marty Hamilton; her daughter, Ruby Hamilton; and six of her siblings, Edith, Jesse, Paul, Donald, Martha Ann, and Buck.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
Margaret will be laid to rest in Hillsboro Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Austin Ruark, J.J. Linville, Shayne Hamilton, Dee Dailey, Raymond Kettlehake, and Ty Littleton.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041.
