IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margaret E
Leet
January 19, 1941 – September 30, 2025
Margaret Dugan Leet, age 84, of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
Born on January 19, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Sadie Dugan of Mason County, Kentucky.
On October 1, 1962, Margaret married the love of her life, the late David Leet. Their marriage was a true love story, and together they built a family rooted in faith, kindness, and devotion. She was preceded in death by her husband, David, in 2001; her son, Steven Leet, in 2016; and her granddaughter, Joy Carol Leet, in 1997. Margaret was also preceded in death by two of her sisters, Lola Jane Riggs and Cecil Caskey; her five brothers, Ernest Dugan, James Dugan, Delbert Dugan, Estill Dugan, and Charles Dugan. She is survived by one of her sisters, Mary Alice Grayson.
Margaret was the cherished mother of Rhonda Leet of Flemingsburg, Steve (Janet) Leet of Flemingsburg, Mark (Natalie) Leet of Flemingsburg, and Shannon (Joe) Crawford of Flemingsburg. She was lovingly called Mamaw Maggie, TeeTart, and Mom by seven of her grandchildren: Toni (Mickey) Cooper, Casey (Josh) Florence, Justin (Krissy Crawford) Leet, Dalton (Peyton) Leet, Olivia (Coty) Johnson, Chloe Leet, and Ashton (Sierra) McCoy. Her joy was multiplied with the blessing of 12 great-grandchildren, who affectionately knew her as GiGi: Landyn Holloway, Tovi Holloway, Madi Cooper, Jocelynn Leet, Amelia Florence, Jonah Florence, Kiara Leet, Aaron Johnson, Parker Johnson, Calvin Leet, Remidy McCoy, and Eli Wheeler.
A devoted homemaker, Margaret's life was centered on her faith and family. She loved the Lord with all her heart, and her home was often filled with the sound of her praises lifted to Heaven. In church, she rarely missed an opportunity to testify of God's goodness, always quick to share how much He had done for her. Her steadfast faith, gentle spirit, and unwavering love leave behind a powerful legacy that will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
Margaret will be remembered for her compassion, humility, and her ability to make everyone feel deeply loved. Though her presence will be greatly missed, her family takes comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband David and son Steven, praising her Savior for all eternity.
