Mrs. Martha Caproni "Sis" Sauer, 84 of Flemingsburg, passed away Tuesday evening April 12, 2011 at her home. She was the Former Martha Caproni born March 9, 1927 in Ashland, Kentucky to the late Henry and Eleanor Wade Caproni. She was a homemaker and a member of St Charles Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Sauer who passed June 2, 1986 and a son Charles A. Sauer Jr. who passed February 27, 2010 a sister Jean Caproni and a half brother Joseph Anthony Caproni.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Friday April 15, 2011 at St. Charles Catholic Church by the Rev. Verne F. Hogan celebrant, with burial to follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Thursday with parish prayers at 4:45 PM at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Hope.
