Marvin Havens Farrow, 88, of Flemingsburg, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home.

Born in Mason County on April 20, 1930, he was a son of the late Les and Amy Farrow.

For 20 years he worked as a dispatcher for RECC.   He was a bus driver for Fleming County Schools.  Was a farmer, worked several years at Fleming County Golf Course and enjoyed going to horse shows, He proudly served his country during the Korean War in the U. S. Army.

He is survived by his son, James "Twiddle" Farrow; his daughter, Connie Purcell and husband Larry; his grandchildren, Justin Farrow and wife Sarah, and Amelia Strahm and husband Rory; his great grandchildren, Emma, A.J. and Taytum.

Marvin was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean McKee Farrow; his parents; his great grandson, Greer Wilder Farrow; his daughter-in-law, Vannedra Dodge Farrow; and J.W. and Amy Havens who raised Marvin.

Services will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Layne Wagner officiating.

Marvin will be laid to rest by his wife in Fleming County Cemetery.

Pallbearers include James "Twiddle" Farrow, Justin Farrow, Rory Strahm, A.J. Farrow, Ronnie Littleton, Bobby Vice, Larry Purcell and Donnie McKee.

Military rites will be performed by the W.N. Fant American Legion Post #5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
