Mary Frances Edmond Moore, 67, of Ewing, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026, at her home.
Born in Maysville on August 31, 1958, Mary was the daughter of the late Donald L. Edmond and the late Margaret Ann Perkins Edmond.
Affectionately known as “MeMe”, Mary was a farm girl who had worked at Burger Queen, a milk maid for her dad and mom, Fleming County Packing, a cook at Kernersville Elementary School, Blue Licks Grocery, and Shamrock BP.
She is survived by her three children, Robbie Lee (Rachel) Moore, Jana (Colin) Hunt, and Cody Moore; her three grandchildren, Ashley, Alayna, and Zoey Hunt; and five of her siblings, John Edmond, David Edmond, Carol Edmond Fields, Janie Doyle, and Darlene Jackson. She is also survived by her niece, Nicole Jackson; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In addition to her mom Margaret; her father Don; Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Robbie “Rooster” Moore; her niece, Christina Doyle, and her brother, Donnie “Ruff Rider” Edmond.
The funeral service will begin at 12 noon, Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
Mary will be privately laid to rest.
Honorary pallbearers include Arnie Fields, Nicole Jackson, Jessica McGlone, Rachel Hamilton, Melissa Smith, Cathy Lawrence, Spring Mackie, Mitchell Fields, Robbie Lee Moore, Lucas Jackson, Jeremy Doyle, David Edmond, John Edmond, Dean Edmond, Braxton Smith, Chris Moran, Susan Finfrock, Alan Moore, and Jake Wall.
Visitation will be 10 a.m., until the hour of service at 12 p.m., Saturday, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street in Flemingsburg.
In place of flowers please consider a donation to help offset funeral expenses to the funeral home.
