Michael Sean Ishmael, 36, of Morehead, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

Born January 27, 1980, in Lexington, he was the son of Linda Grannis Ishmael and the late Gary R. Ishmael.

Sean worked for High Mountain Inspection in Casper, Wyoming. During college, one of his proudest accomplishments was serving an internship with Speaker of the House Jody Richards. He was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed music and art, being a great artist and guitarist.

In addition to his mother Linda, Sean is survived by special friend, Rianna Robinson; his brothers, Joseph Allen (Sheena) Ishmael and Desmond McAdams; his sister, Kimberly Rae (Adam Baker) Ishmael; and his nephew, Maddox. He is also survived his grandmother, Joann Grannis; his aunts and uncles, Bill Ishmael, Michael Ishmael, Nancy and Tony Gregory, Steve and Ann Grannis, and Julie and Tom Carroll; his cousins and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Gary; his paternal grandparents, Lloyd "Dick" and Toni Ishmael; and his maternal grandfather, James Allen Grannis.

All services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Boone-Nickell Funeral Home is caring for the arrangements.
