Obituary
Michael Douglas Roark, 53, of Maxey Flat Road, Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at UK Hospital after an extended illness.
Born October 15, 1960, in Maysville, he was a son of Juanita Prince Roark of Maxey Flat and the late Fred Roark Sr.
In addition to his mother, Michael is survived by his two brothers, Kenneth Roark and Susie of Maxey Flat, Daniel Roark and Joy of Flemingsburg; two sisters, Darlene Mabry of Maxey Flat and Marcella Parker and Larry of Morehead; other family members; and friends.
Michael was preceded in death by his father and a brother Freddy Roark.
Michael had worked at SRG Global in Morehead and IBM. He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish.
Graveside services will be at 4 PM Friday April 4, 2014 at Prince Cemetery with Bro. Darry Cooper officiating. Boone – Nickell Funeral Home is caring for all arrangements for Mr. Roark
