Jacob Michael “Mike” Bocook, 61, of Bluebank, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2026, at the Hospice of Hope Care Center.

Born in Fleming County on December 7, 1964, his father was the late Jacob Bocook and his mother was the late Ruby Smoot Bocook.

Mike is survived by his two sisters, Linda Boccok and Sherry Bocook; his nephew, David (Ashley McConell) Bocook; his great niece, Mallory Bocook; his great nephew, Jakob Smoot; his two cousins, Norman Smoot and James Smoot; along with many extended family members and friends.

In addition to his mother Ruby and his father Jacob, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Jacob Bocook, Jr.

Services will be privately handled by Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
