Obituary

Mildred "Millie" Leet Porter Dayton, 83, of Flemingsburg, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning June 3, 2012 at Fleming County Hospital. She was born July 11, 1928 in Fleming County to the late Oney & Elizabeth Allison Leet. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sisters Clarine Burke Hall and Christine Ruark, her husbands Clemmie Porter & Paul Dayton.

Mildred was a lifelong member of the Mt. Tabor Methodist Church and was an avid bingo player a Pioneer Trace Nursing Home and she was also an avid UK fan. Mildred retired from Fleming County Hospital after 18 years of service. Her life was her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.

Great Grandchildren: Hannah "Allie" Allison Thomas, Emma"Abbie" Abigail Thomas of Ewing, KY Thomas & Paislee Dayton Bruner of Mt. Sterling, KY

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Wednesday June 6, 2012 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Grime and Rev. Peter Morgan officiating, Burial will follow in Fleming County Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be; Wayne Bruner, Larry Dearing, Jerome Bruner, Jordan Bruner, Wally Thomas, Marty Littleton, Wayne Grimes, Larry Burke and Jeff Burke. Honorary pallbearers include; Darrell Linville, Eugene Jones, June Kimberling, Billy Fredrick, Billy Grover Money, Bonnie Miller, Phyllis Fryman, Dorothy Jones, Betty Jane Stephens, Virgil Hall, Kim Burke Hurst, Roy Lee Linville, Peggy Vice and Jimmy Berry.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pioneer Trace Nursing Home Activity Fund or Mt. Tabor Methodist Church.
