Myrtle McKee Lee, 93, of Flemingsburg passed away Sunday morning June 12, 2011 at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home. She was born April 7, 1918 in Fleming County to the late John Nelson and Minnie McKee. She was retired from the US Shoe Corp where she worked for over 20 yrs. She was a member of the Wallingford Methodist Church, Wallingford Methodist Women for 50 yrs, Wallingford Homemakers, and the Hospital Auxiliary, she also loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her husband John Preston Lee, her parents, and 3 brothers Orville, Harold, and Charlie McKee.

Survivors include

Brothers: Elwood (Ruby) McKee, Roy McKee, and Edgar McKee

Sister: Dorothy Reeves

Niece and Caregiver: Donna (James) Hitch and several other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday June 15, 2011 at Wallingford United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Wallingford Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Tuesday at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home and 10 - 11 AM Wednesday at the church. Boone - Nickell Funeral Home is caring for all arrangements for Mrs. Lee.
