Nancye Reid Dorsey Martin, 79, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Kara and Jim Story, of Flemingsburg. She was born on June 28, 1936 to the late Robert and Wilma Reid Dorsey, and raised on the family farm on Cassidy Pike. After graduation from Fleming County High School in 1955 she moved to Lexington, KY, where she remained the rest of her life. She was married to Jack D. Martin, who passed away in November, for 43 years.

She is survived by her loving children, Kara Jo (Jim) Story, of Flemingsburg, and Bob (Heidi) Mullins, of Lexington; grandchildren, Chad (Rachel) Eldridge of Columbus, OH, and Haley Smith, of Lexington; and great grandson, Aiden Eldridge, of Columbus, OH; sister, Mary Gordon Wheeler and niece, Donna Wheeler Martin, both of Hopkinsville and niece, Julie Wheeler, of Nashville. Also, her aunt Betty Dorsey, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, as well as her nephew, Donny Wheeler, of Nashville.

At Nancye's request, graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 24, 2015 at Fleming County Cemetery with Jim Rawlings officiating. Boone-Nickell Funeral Home is caring for the arrangements.
