Nellie G. Skaggs Fearin, 79, of Flemingsburg went to be with her Heavenly Father, Wednesday January 30, 2013 at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home. She was born August 31, 1933 in Morgan County to the late Leander and Mandy Skaggs. Nellie better known as "Gran", was a passionate life long cook , her life was built around being a mother grandmother and caretaker to all whom she knew. She was preceded in death by her husband RT Fearin, grandson Joshua Fearin, and 7 brothers and sisters.

Children: Larry (Wanda Carpenter) Fearin of Flemingsburg, KY, Sue (Russell) Holt of Beechburg, KY, Tommy Fearin of Wallingford, KY and Steve (Victoria Cannon) Fearin of Beechburg, KY

13 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren

Siblings: Mary Ferguson of Crockett, KY, Faye (Ford) Estep of Fairborn, OH, and Jake (Barb) Skaggs of Beechburg, KY

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Friday February 1, 2013 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Pastor Clint Strickland and Pastor Herbie Stallard officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 - 1 PM Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of Hope in memory of Mrs. Fearin.
