Obituary

Opal Morris, 93, of James Road, passed away Sunday April 8, 2012 at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home surrounded by her special friends and family. She was born May 19, 1918 in Carter County Kentucky to the late Howard & Laura Hamm Blanton. She had been a clerk at a variety store in Germantown, OH for many years. She was a member of Wallingford United Methodist Church. She was the widow of George C. Morris. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, several brother and sister in laws.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Thursday April 12, 2012 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Manning and Bro. Bob Ray officiating. Burial will follow in Hurst Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 - 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Eulas Fannin, Mike Gooding, Mark Wagner, Mike Wagner, Tommy McDonald, & Steve Strunk. Memorial contributions may be made to Fleming County Senior Adult Day Care Center or the Wallingford United Methodist Church.
