Patricia "Patti" Bryant, 79, of Flemingsburg, passed away Friday, January 31, 2025, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home. She was the widow of Bobby Bryant.
Born in Fleming County on September 26, 1945, her father was the late Nolan Lee Story and her mother was the late Hattie Miller Story.
Patti worked as a machine operator for 17 years at Browning Manufacturing and 10 years at Randall's. She had been co owner of Bryant Machine Shop with her late husband. A motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed riding with her husband, Patti was a past Chapter President of the Goldwing Club Maysville Limestone. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary and was a past district president for the VFW Auxiliary.
Patti is survived by her three children, Melissa Arthur, Debbie Bryant (Darrell Nickerson), and Pam Bryant; her three grandchildren, Aimee Arthur (Tyler Powell), Erin Arthur, and Meagan Bryant; her two great grandchildren, Emery Bryant and Brayden Bryant; and special family friend, Denise Christy. She is also survived by three of her siblings, Frederick (wife Barb) Wade, Ida Hinton, and Judy Little; along with many extended family members, and friends.
In addition to her husband Bobby who passed in 2006, her mother Hattie, and her father Nolan, Patti was preceded in death by three of her siblings, Lewis Wade, Jean Mattox, and Rosie Story; three of her nephews, Darrell Story, Mike Story, and Wes Mattox; and her niece, Tiny Story.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2025, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home, with Bro. Herbie Stallard officiating.
Patti will be laid to rest in Mount Tabor Cemetery/Sunnyside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Dr. Frank Vice, Darrell Nickerson, Raymond Pollitt, Tyler Powell, Richard Little, Joe Wade, Danny Carpenter, and Joey Dunaway. Honorary pallbearers include Tony Kinder, Paul Pollitt, and Bill Brown.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., Friday, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041.
