Patty McClanahan, 64, of Flemingsburg, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.

Born in Maysville on August 18, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Rufus "Hoop" McClanahan and the late Sara Alice Gulley McClanahan.

Patty was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her two children, James McClanahan and partner Jim Haney, Sara Justice and husband Rodney; her three grandchildren, Bruce, Kevin, and Kelsey; and her four great grandchildren.  She is also survived by two of her sisters, Betty Dyer and husband Billy, and Ruby Lucas; along with her nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her brother, Tommy McClanahan; and her sister, Beulah McClanahan.

The funeral service will begin at 12 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home, with Pastor Robbie Shrout officiating.

Patty will be laid to rest in Wallingford Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Bailey Miller, Bruce Justice, Kevin Justice, Dustin Dyer, Doug Dyer, and Billy Dyer.

Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 12 p.m., Saturday, at Boone-Nickell.
