Phyllis Sammons Grimm, 83, of Wallingford, passed away at home with her son and daughter-in-law, on Friday, August 4, 2023.

Born in Johnson County on June 10, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Sammons and the late Myrtle Williams Sammons.

Phyllis had worked at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in the 90's as a nurse's aide, and had also cleaned homes and provided child care to several local families. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was always helping others and putting others before herself. She was known as a true servant of God who was known for her smile and artistic ability. For over 40 years Phyllis was a member of Mason County Church of Christ.

Phyllis is survived by her two children, Gary Michael Grimm and wife Sheryl and Donna Baker Grimm; her three grandchildren, Heather Duncan and husband Josh, Autumn Baker Little, and Dakota Baker; her five great grandchildren; and several cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald "Duck" Grimm.

A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Mason County Church of Christ (236 Duke of York St., Old Washington KY 41096).
