Rick Robert Ramey, 52, of Tilton, passed away on Friday June 21, 2019, at University of Kentucky Medical Center Hospice.

Rick was born August 28, 1966, in Fleming County to the late Jerry and Nettie Mae Ramey Flora.

Rick had recently worked as a truck driver in Louisville and was a member of the Hillsboro Christian Church.

Survivors include his aunts, Deloris Ramey Flora and Linda Flora:  his uncles, Bill (Donna) Ramey and David (Kathy) Ramey; his cousins, Lisa Jackson, Debbie (Randy) Williams, Jodey (Erin) Ramey, Chase & Colton Ramey, Chastity Ramey, Kelly Sparks,Greg Flora, John Ashley Flora and Rebecca Gilreath; and many more cousins and friends.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents; his paternal grandparents, Clyde Robert and Lyda Mae Flora; his maternal grandparents, Alvin and Dorothy Jean Ramey; his uncle, Jimmy Ramey; and his cousin, Larry Wayne Flora.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at Boone – Nickell Funeral Home with   Bro. Jim Hamm officiating. Visitation will be 5 -7 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.

Rick will be laid to rest beside his mother at Longview Cemetery at 11 a. m., on Wednesday, June 26, with Sister Gail Skaggs officiating.

Jodey Ramey, Chase Ramey, Colton Ramey, Fran Toy, Rob Allen Campbell, Troy Steward, Chucky Ramey and Ted Allen Ramey will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers include Jeremy Sparks, Tyler Doyle, David Ramey, Greg Flora, Brooks McIntyre, Bill Ramey, Troy Steward II, Mark Ramey, Austin Davis and John Ashley Flora.
