Ricky Ray Jones, 69, of Flemingsburg, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2022, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center.

Born in Maysville on April 27, 1953, he was the son of Kenneth and Dorothy Perkins Jones.

Ricky was a line worker for Toyo Seat and a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his wife, Mae, spending time with his family – especially his grandchildren.  He enjoyed fishing, watching westerns & UK basketball, and going to church.

Ricky is survived by his wife of 36 years, Mae Basford Ballard Jones; his three children, Shauna Jones, Buzz (Ashley) Ballard, and Tonya Ballard Gulley; his seven grandchildren, Chaisen Gulley, Chaz Ballard, Jordan Ballard, Lakyn Gray, Carsen Gulley, Shyla Ballard, and Jonathon Hickerson; and his five great grandchildren, Asher, Addlyn, Layla, Raelyn, and Jackson.  In addition to his parents Kenneth and Dorothy, Ricky is survived by his two siblings, Tricia (Mark) Jones-Mullins and Jeremy (Valerie) Jones; his niece, Tori Jones; his two nephews, Joey Jones and Alexander Mullins; his two great nephews; his one great niece; along with many extended family members and friends.

Ricky was preceded in death by his uncle, Wayne Perkins; his uncle and aunt, J.E. and Norma Jean Perkins Smith; and his aunt, Mary Lee Jones.

Services for Ricky and his family are being privately cared for by Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
