Roberta S. “Robbie” Richards, 70, of Hillsboro, entered Paradise on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from the Hospice of Hope Care Center with her husband of 37 years by her side.

Born in Charleston, West Virginia on September 14, 1956, her father was the late James Lee Taylor and her mother was the late Thelma Deloris Parsons Taylor.

Robbie is survived by her husband, Bobby Richards; her daughter, Yvonne Harmon; her granddaughter, Avarie Harmon; her grand grandson, Jacob Harmon (all of Hillsboro); her stepdaughter, Amanda Lawson of Richmond; and her two step grandsons, Seth Lawson of Richmond, and Austin Richards of Robertson County. She is also survived by her three siblings - brother, Perry Taylor of Jefffersonville, and two sisters, Donna Hensley of South Point, Ohio and Mary Bonow of Spicewood, Texas.

At her request, Robbie will be cremated and her ashes scattered privately. Jed and Jenny, her two donkeys. will be in attendance.
