Robert B. "Beau" Rickey, 55, of Haverhill, OH, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019, at UK Hospital.

He was born in Portsmouth, OH, on February 6, 1964, to Dawna Faye Ackinson Rickey and the late Rawland Dwight Rickey.

Beau was retired from Middletown City Schools (Middletown, Ohio) as a work study coordinator.

In addition to his mother Dawna, he is survived by his son, Sean Rickey; his daughter, Gabrielle Rickey; his granddaughter, Evelyn Mae Griggs; his brothers, Chad (Brooke) Rickey and Drew (Missi) Rickey.  He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Rawland Rickey, Jr., Katherine Rickey, Garrett Rickey, Benjamin Rickey, and Charley Anne Rickey; his aunt, Denise Patterson;  and his cousins, Tiffany Pierson, Tim (Janeen) Mynes, Tom Mynes, Leslie (Tim) Buckle, and Courtney (Darren) LeBrun.

In addition to his father Rawland, he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Rawland Rickey and Janet Eileen Benner Rickey; and his maternal grandfather, Clifford Ackinson

Services for Beau are private and being cared for by Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
