Robert Earl Butler, 78, of Wallingford, KY passed away Friday March 22, 2013 at the Hospice Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville, KY. He was born January 11, 1935 in Maysville, KY to the late James Henry Butler and Iva Whisman. Mr. Butler was a self-employed logger and enjoyed raising bees and making honey. He is preceded in death by a stepson, Kelly Powell.

Services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Boone Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. David Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow in Cranston Cemetery in Rowan County, KY. Visitation will be 11-1 PM Wednesday at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home. .
