Robert Bruce Saunders, 72, passed away Tuesday March 1, 2011 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington after a long illness. He was born in Fleming County on March 17, 1938 to the late Minor R. and Martha Belle Saunders. He was retired from Maysville Ready Mix as a mechanic. He was a member of the Dover Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents 4 brothers Everett, Luke, Chester and Elden Saunders. 2 sisters Willa Mae Planck and Leona Johnson

Survivors include his wife Anna Josephine Saunders

10 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday March 5 , 2011 at the Dover Baptist Church. Burial will be private. Boone - Nickell Funeral Home is charge of all arrangements. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Dover Baptist Church or Hospice of Hope.
