Roger Dean Emmons, 61, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023, at UK Chandler Hospital in Lexington.

Born in Maysville, Ky. on November 11, 1961, he was the son of the late Estill Emmons and the late Pauline Fannin Emmons.

Roger is survived by three of his siblings, Diane Vanhorn, Wynonia Johnson, Jennie Kinsman; several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jimmie G. Emmons; his sister, Janet Weaver; and his sister-in-law, Mary Emmons.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.

Roger will be laid to rest in Hillsboro Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
