Ronald Edward Elter, 84, of Wallingford, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at his residence.

Born in Dayton, Ohio on November 22, 1938, he was the son of  Leroy B. Elter.

Ron retired from Chrysler Airtemp in Dayton.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Monnie Cleora Rigdon Elter; his four children, Ronald L. Elter and wife Tammy, Debra L. Grice, John E. Elter, and Anna M. Elter; his ten grandchildren, Chelsea, Aaron, Sarah, Mark, Keisha, Christina, Samantha, K.C., Chantell, and Gracie; his 13 great grandchildren; along with many extended family members and friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his father Leroy B. Elter and his cousin, Alfred Elter.

The memorial service will begin at 12 p.m., Friday, December 1, 2023, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Pastor Robbie Shrout officiating.

Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 12 p.m., Friday, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041.
