Buford Ronald "Ron" Hill, age 85, of Flemingsburg, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Baptist Health Lexington.

Born in Williamsburg, Ky. on January 25, 1940, his father was the late Clarence Hill and his mother was the late Juanita Snell Hill.

Ron was a dentist for 45 years.  He had proudly served his country in the United States Marines.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Diane Cumberledge Hill; his two daughters, Kim & Chris Higginbotham and Carrie & Shaun Wells; his four grandchildren, Alexis Wash, Emily Higginbotham, C.J. Higginbotham, and Landon Wells; and his great grandchild, Ellanor Smith.  He is also survived by two of his siblings, Barbara Story and Kay Mobley; along with many extended family members and friends.

In addition to his mother Juanita and his father Clarence, Ron was preceded in death by two of his siblings, Clarence Hill, Jr. and Roger Hill.

Ron and his family are being cared for privately by Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
