Obituary
Ron Wright Sr., 91, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home after an extended illness.
He was born January 30, 1925 in Paintsville, KY to the late James and Minnie Gillium Wright.
Ron was a lifelong farmer and had worked for 14 years at Independent Tobacco Warehouse in Maysville. Ron and Zelda attended the Freewill Baptist Church in Flemingsburg.
Ron was preceded in death by a son Ron Wright Jr; brothers Frank, Charles, Willie and Junior Wright; sisters Frona Helton, Froza Williams, Elise Howard and Nola Ball; and his parents
Survivors include his wife Zelda Caudill Wright; daughter Jackie Jett of Arkansas; step-sons Willie ( Lee Ann) Conn & Johnny (Robin) Conn all of Fleming County; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Christine (Carl) Dunn of Ohio.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11a.m., Saturday, June 4th, 2016, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Boone-Nickell Funeral Home is caring for all arrangements for Mr. Wright.
