Ronald Dean Gilliam and Wilma Lee Gilliam, husband and wife of Wallingford, passed away 3 days apart.

Ronald passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024, at University of Kentucky Hospital. Wilma passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024, at their home.

Ronald was born in Lewis County, the son of the late Marie Richmond Gilliam and Ira Lee Gilliam.

Wilma was born in Fleming County, the daughter of the late Harry Elwood Wagner and Mary Melvina Stamm Wagner.

Ronald was a lifelong farmer and logger and of the Christian faith.

Wilma was a lifelong farmer and member of the Pleasant Valley Christian Church.

Ronald is survived by seven of his siblings, Carolyn (Delbert) McGlone, Phyllis (Bob) Bentley, Donetta (Ronnie) Beiland, Norma Louise Bloomfield, Roscoe (Betty) Gilliam, Mildred Bloomfield, and Nellie Walters.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by five of his siblings, Burton Gilliam, Clifford Gilliam, Oscar Gilliam, Willena Blankenship, and Rebecca Bryant.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Wagner.

A graveside service for Ronald and Wilma will be privately held at Martin Cemetery.
