Obituary
Ronnie Ray "Smitty" Smith, 67, passed away Tuesday evening March 25, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY after a brief illness.
Smitty was born October 7, 1946 in Fleming County to the late Josie Belle Smith.
Smitty owned and operated Smitty's Auction House in Maysville for more than 20 years. He loved auctions and everything about them his business was his pride and joy.
Survivors include his wife Velma Cushard Smith and a daughter Patsy Smith.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a daughter Rhonda King.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Sunday March 30, 2014 at Boone – Nickell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Goddard Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 7 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
