Ruth A. Schaber Doyle, age 76, of Flemingsburg, KY passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015.

She was born on April 20, 1938 in Talheim, Germany to the late Martin and Marie Schaber. She was the widow of Barbour Gene Doyle.

Ruth was an avid reader, enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting and school events, as well as cheering on the UK Wildcats. Ruth was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a friend to many. She was a member of the Flemingsburg United Methodist Church. She will be greatly missed.

Ruth is survived by sons, Mark Doyle and Jeff (Cara) Doyle and daughter Ramona Doyle Mitchell; four grandchildren: Hilary Doyle, Haley Doyle, Evan Mitchell, and AnaLiese Mitchell; and one sister Elfriede Latendresse along with several nieces and nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by a sister Meta Schaber and an infant brother.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00PM on Thursday February 26th at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home in Flemingsburg with the Reverend Susan Elkow officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday February 26th from 3-7PM. Interment will Friday at 10 AM in Fleming County Cemetery.
