Scottie Lee Bratcher, 59, of Flemingsburg, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2016, at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe.

Born September 26, 1957, in Louisville, he was a son of Walter and Cleo Preston Bratcher of Flemingsburg.

Scottie worked in construction and last worked as a mechanic at High Energy Kawasaki in Flemingsburg. Scottie never met a stranger and was a natural entertainer; he loved his family and all of his friends and was sure to put a smile on their face. Scottie was of the Christian faith.

Scottie is survived by his children, Scottie, Jr., Tyler, Courtney (Louie) Tillery; his grandchildren, Zoey, Joseph "Jo-Jo", Jaxon, Mikkayla and Marquis. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his sister, Paula (Martin) Lutz and his brother, Kerry (Stephanie) Bratcher; longtime companion, Becky Bratcher; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of friends.

Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m., Thursday, December 15, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. Gaylord Gillespie and Pastor Rocky Bratcher officiating. Burial will follow in Fleming County Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Friday.

Visitation will be 4 – 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Kerry Bratcher, Scottie Bratcher Jr., Jamie Lutz, Louis Tillery, Bryan Manning, Brad Stephens and Tony Hickerson. Honorary pallbearers include Brian Watson, Tim Snedegar, Philip Purvis, Jeremy Flannery and Darrell Warner.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Flemingsburg Freewill Baptist Church (Attn: Pastor Herbie Stallard, 147 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, KY 41041).
