Sharon Ann Croucher Thiery Ballou, 72, of Webbville, Ky. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at her residence with her loving husband and grandson Aaron by her side.

Born in Berea, Ky. on December 14, 1952, her father was the late Robert Croucher and her mother was the late Mildred Wilson Croucher.

Sharon is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years, Robert "David" Ballou; her daughter, Kelli (Luke) Witt;  her two stepdaughters, Chandra (Brian) Winningham and Tracy Chandler; her 14 grandchildren, Aaron Thiery, Isaac Thiery, Abigail Thiery, Delilah Witt (James Setty), Fiona (Dillon) Craig, Lorraina Witt, Wilson Witt, Matilda Witt, Susannah Witt, Kylie Winningham, Ethan Winningham, Austin Winningham, Jared Coffman, and Jesse Ballou;  her eight great grandchildren,  William Deaton, Jackson Deaton, Cecilia Deaton, Daisy Deaton, Emori Setty, Leon Setty, Evelyn Setty, and Elias Craig. She is also survived by three of her siblings, Ronda Croucher, Susan Thompson, and Glenn Croucher; along with many extended family members and friends.

In addition to her mother Mildred and her father Robert, Sharon was preceded in death by her daughter, Rachel Thiery Black; her first husband, Richard Michael Thiery; her stepson, Jesse Ballou; two of her siblings, Barry Croucher and infant Marvin Croucher; her two sisters-in-law, Rose Croucher, Mary Croucher; and her brother-in-law, Gary Thompson.

The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.

Sharon will be laid to rest in Fleming County Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Luke Witt, Aaron Thiery, Isaac Thiery, Wilson Witt, and Dillon Craig.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m., until the hour of service at 1 p.m., Tuesday at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg, Ky. 41041.
