Sherlotta Lee "Sherry" Darlington, 52, of Wallingford, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at her sister's home after a long battle with cancer.

Born May 9, 1965, in Maysville, she was the daughter of the late Edward Lee and Faye Sherlotta Tumey.

Sherry had recently worked at Pizza Hut in Flemingsburg as a delivery driver. Sherry had also been a custodian for Fleming County Board of Education, worked at McDonald's and helped her husband farm.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Donnie Darlington; her sons, Shawn and Cody Darlington; her daughters, Tasha Little and husband Roy, Jayme (Robert Muse) Hurst, and Kirstie Little and husband Jamie; her brothers, James Robert Tumey and Michael Edward Tumey; her sisters, Tonya Sue Maher and husband Todd, and Loretta Lynn ( Steve Seaver) Tumey. Sherry is also survived by her grandchildren, Jeremy Little and Trey and Eli Morris; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Services will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 20th, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Brother Jesse Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow in Elizaville Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Sherry's name are suggested to the funeral home to help with expenses.
