Stanley Clyde "Poojohn" Dailey, 79, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at his daughter's residence.

Born in Hillsboro on December 22, 1945, Poojohn was the son of the late Stanley Reeves Dailey and the late Majorie Lee Shields.

Poojohn was a farmer and a janitor for Fleming County High School for eight years.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Sonoma Wheeler Dailey; his three children, Connie (Stephen) Murphy, Sheila (Darrell) Latham, and Stanley (Angelica) Dailey, Jr. ; his 12 grandchildren, Blake Dailey, Riley Dailey, Landen Dailey, Caleb Latham, Abigail Dailey, Elizabeth Latham, Jacob Latham, Brynlee Dailey, Jase Dailey, Addison Dailey, Asa Dailey,  and Brittany (Jason) Warmouth; his six great grandchildren, Aleah Becker, Bayleigh Warmouth, Israel Warmouth, Jaxon Warmouth, Brooklyn Warmouth, and Jameson Warmouth.  He is also survived by six of his siblings, Anna Jane, Katherine, Frances, Lois Marie, Charles, and Larry; along with many extended family members and friends.

In addition to his mother Marjorie and his father Stanley, Poojohn was preceded in death by five of his siblings, Bill Sue Carol, Everett, Joe, Brenda.

Poojohn and his family are being privately cared for by Boone-Nickell Funeral Home.
