Stanley Austin Jackson, 64, of Lexington, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025, at UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center.
Born in Maysville on February 22, 1961, Stanley was the son of the late William Jackson and the late Frances Warner Jackson.
Stanley was a graduate of Kentucky College of Business with a bachelor's degree in business. He was a parking attendant for 20 years. For 19 years he was a supervisor for Saint Joseph Hospital's cleaning department. He was a member of the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He proudly served his country in the United States Marines.
Stanley is survived by eight of his siblings, William Jackson, Jr., Curtis (Missy) Jackson, Elizabeth (William) Young, Mary Woodberry Hart, Wilma Groves, Sharon Beatty, Eileen Jackson, Kathleen (Franklin) Lofton; along with several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
In addition to his mother Frances and his father William, Stanley was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Marie Wilson.
The Homegoing service for Stanley will begin at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Boyd officiating.
Stanley will be laid to rest in Fleming County Cemetery.
W.N. Fant American Legion Post #5 and Franklin Sousley VFW Post 1834 will be performing military rites.
Pallbearers include Van McKee, Robert "Cheese" Connors, Sebastian Gaskins, Tim McKee, Arthur Lofton, and Marcus Lofton. Honorary pallbearers include Alton Bolden, Clifton Bolden, Anthony "Skeeter" Connors, Kirk McKee, and Allen T. Jones.
Visitation will be 11 a.m., until the hour of the service at 1 p.m., Saturday, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street, Flemingsburg Ky. 41041.
