Steven Kirtley Doyle, 61, of Lexington, formerly of Brooksville KY, passed away Monday October 1, 2012 at St. Joseph Hospital East in Lexington after a long battle with cancer. He was born on November 25, 1950 in Maysville, KY to the late Cecil Kirtley Doyle and Hazel Irene Jones Doyle. Mr. Doyle was a retired supervisor with Columbia Gas, he had also served in the US Army serving during Vietnam in Germany as a Cook. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM Friday at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 - 1 PM Friday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Steve K. Doyle Memorial Fund at any Whitaker Bank in Lexington, KY, to help with medical and funeral expenses
