Steven Dale Rigdon, 65, of Maysville, KY passed away Monday at Meadowview Regional Medical Center suddenly.

Steven was born January 15, 1949 in Flemingsburg, KY to the late Walker and Melva Jean McCord Rigdon.

Steven was a graduate of Fleming County High School, attended Morehead State University and was a licensed barber. He was retired from Emerson Browning Manufacturing after 35 years of service. He was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to fish and hunt. Until his health declined he loved to golf. He was a member of the Loyal Order Eagles 1564 and Moose Lodge 1124 in Maysville.

Survivors include his wife Nancy Bolten Rigdon; step-daughter Tracy Oliver; niece Jennifer (Josh) Carpenter; great niece and nephew Katherine and Henry Carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Kathy Lee.

Funeral services will be at 4 PM Thursday August 28, 2014 at Boone - Nickell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elizaville Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 - 4 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Josh Carpenter, Danny Lee, Charles Detro, Richard Fryman, Johnny French and David Mitchell will serve as pallbearers.
