Thomas Estill Vice, 67, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 26, 2016, at Fleming County Hospital.

Born on May 27, 1948, in Fleming County, he was the son of the late Charles Mansfield and Ruby K. Emmons Vice.

He was a fence builder and farmer and was a member of the Poplar Plains Christian Church.

Survivors include 11 siblings, Larry G. (Phylis) Vice of Crossville, Tenn., Joan M. Story of Flemingsburg, Janie S. Parker of New Carlisle, Ohio, Terry S. Vice of Flemingsburg, Donna J. Vice of Park Hills, Betty F. Long of Phenix City, Ala., Randy N. Vice of Poplar Plains, Bill J. (Mary) Vice of Poplar Plains, Martin D. Vice of Poplar Plains, Douglas A. Vice of Poplar Plains, and Linda K. (Everett) Johnson of Georgetown; an aunt, Ruth (Tommy) Rankin of Flemingsburg; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce A. Nolen.

Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, January 30 , 2016, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Rev. George Sloan and Pastor Gail Skaggs officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Ray Cooper, Jewett Hyatt, Jerry Vice, Mike Martin, Larry Sexton, Chuck Ramey, Billy Joe Denton and Rick Pendland. Honorary pallbearers will be Lou Conley, J.W. Denton, Dopey Cooper, Sammy Miller, Kevin Boling, Robbie Miller, Ronnie Spencer, Lonnie Emmons and Barry Emmons.
