Trip Gooding, 38, of Maysville, passed away Wednesday August 7, 2013 at his residence.

He was born August 18, 1974 in Flemingsburg, KY to Mac Gooding and Lynn Bernard.

Trip was a Police Officer for the Mason County Sheriff's Department, a former Police Officer for both the Maysville and Flemingsburg Police Departments. He was also a member of the Flemingsburg Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife Cyndi (Marshall) Gooding; two sons: Shawn-Taylor and Tyler Gooding; his father Mac Gooding; his mother Lynn Bernard; his step-father Terry Bernard; and two sisters: Cheri (Tony) Argo and Beth (Chad) Bernard Jeffries and grandmother Jane Gooding.

Trip is preceded in death by his grandparents Theresa and William Gilliam, Harold Gooding; his great grandparents Ethelene and August Koehler and his great-grandmother Grace Campbell

Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday August 10, 2013 at the Fleming County High School with Rev. Darrell Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at the Fleming County Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 - 2 Saturday at the High School. Pallbearers will be Ryan Hull, Trent Kirkland, Tony Argo, Chad Jeffries, Micah Amstutz, Patrick Boggs, Jayden Argo and Sam Gooding.
